  • You can use trains to go to other French cities,
  • RER lines link Paris and it’s suburbs,
  • Metro is the fastest way to travel inside of Paris,

The trains are managed by the national company SNCF and the Ile-de-France transport by RATP. On their website, you can find maps and itineraries.

You can get a telephone chip for your cellphone in France, even for 6 months. In France there are 4 companies dealing with chips: Orange, Bouygues, SFR and Free. Please download the following document which will give you all the details about their offers.

Do you need a bank account in France? It’s really easy from the campus. Welcom' has a partnership with “Société Générale” bank. This bank will be present at the school in the week of your arrival so that you can get the information quickly and clearly. For easy access, there is also a “Société Générale” ATM available at the campus.

Are you a non-European student? You may need a visa. It’s delivered by your national administration and lasts up to 12 months and can be renewed every year. Please check the website for more information.

Social Security is mandatory for all students. European students have an International Health Card. However, non-European students must register in a social security program here.
